UncleBrent

We spent most of the day with Uncle Brent yesterday helping him feel as comfortable as possible. He isn't doing well at all and I wonder how much longer he will be with us. He hasn't eaten anything for 6 days and only drinks what we spoon into his mouth which is very little. This experience is very hard on all of us especially grandma. I do appreciate all of your phone calls and postings. Deb called last night and we were busy ... I told her we would call back but we didn't so we'll do so this morning.
Love to all of you,
Dad

It was good to talk with both Dad and Gram, which I did this morning. This is a difficult time, but also a time of celebration for a life well (and energetically) lived and family around you (physcially present or far away) on the days you need them most.

Dad and Mom - the Maryland and North Carolina Ward/Andersons, including Jon, send their love, thoughts and prayers. We know this is hard, we admire you for doing well and bravely what must be done. Please share our love with Uncle Brent, Dave and Monica, Kathy, Kelly and our dear Grandma Great.

I hope all is going as well can be. We will always have some great memories of Bent. My favorite will always be the time we surprised him with a cake in July for his Birthday in December. When the cake came in he was singing happing birthday as loud as anyone. He got a huge smile on his face when it sank in it was for him.
