That was a fun little trip down memory lane. Thanks!

Great photos. It would be great if the blog would let us run a slide show of photos of us Pigs.

I look in the mirror and wonder what Deb and Jayson arms look like, I can still see my "slide tan" and theirs was a lot worse. We had a good time all together...we should do it more often......Oh that's right we are getting together next year, right David?

It was a fun reunion with lots of activities to keep us all going 90 miles an hour. Can't wait for the next one!

Wha Hoo ...! That was one fun reunion and YES we did go 90 mph, especially down that slide. Jay's scars healed much better than mine. Folk's cringe when they see them - call me weird, but I love them. Not only does it make me look more like a supermodel (think Padma on Top Chef, but it is evidence that I lived with vigor. Besides all that I won the race.

ha ha Jayson. game on next reunion.

I was very worried that someone would come off their sleds, but I figured that it would have been one of the kids and not on the first time down the hill. I think I won every race I was in with my kids, but I practiced a few weeks before. The time I fell off I was trying to see how fast I was going with my GPSR, and did not see the corner coming. I think its great your proud of you wounds and that you let everyone know that you beat a Marine getting them!

I think that the hardest race for me to win was against David Nolte ... I was thinking that my weight would shoot me down the hill faster than him but apparently his smaller size kept him right in the center of the track and he didn't have to worry about breaking like I did on those wicked curves!

This reunion and the other two will be remembered forever ... and in time the stories will become bigger than life. Like - "Remember when we were going 75 MPH down the Alpine Slide and Debby and Jayson flew out and rolled all the way down the mountain" or "remember the 50 mile hikes" or "We sat for hours watching grandpa's slides in North Carolina" or "remember how much fun we had playing at String Lake" and on and on! That's the great thing about getting together: Generating long-lasting memories!
