We did have a great time ... grandma (great grandma) seemed to enjoy herself more than I've seen in some time. The potato bar was yummy and the mud pie was really good (we ate it again last night and enjoyed it as much as we did at the party ... Thanks Laura! I saw the monkey hanging around but had no idea know where it came from ... still don't.

Mom and I are heading back to Arizona tomorrow - we had planned on going to Maryland but Uncle Brent isn't doing good so we cancled that trip and are going back to our winter haven.

I'm sorry that you had to cancel the trip. I hope you are able to work things out with Brent.

David J. has taken Brent to the hospital. He has been unable to eat since Saturday. We were on our way to the airport when he called. David J. didn't know what to do about putting in a feeding tube. We spent an hour and a half in the airport parking lot while Dad agonized over what to do about the trip. He wanted to go so bad but in the end he decided that he should be with his mother and Brent. The doctor told David that he doesn't think
Brent will live more than a few days. The family has decided not to put a feeding tube in but they have him on an IV with an antibiotic. Brent's MRI showed a very badly atrophied brain with a lot of fluid--they said it would be like wearing a 25 lb. hat. Please remember Dad, Brent and Grandma in your prayers.

I am not sure that us western pigs are really ready to give her up to you eastern pigs on a regular basises.

I know its hard to see Laura and me in the pictures, but we were there too. I think we were the only two that were there that did not make it into the blog.
