We took a long drive last night to see a Christmas light display wherein the lights had been synchronized to music. I took the video with my cell phone so the visual and sound quality is not great but you get an idea of how fun it was. We also drove around and saw many other lights including the house of Santa's cousin and the house with 30+ Christmas blow up lawn ornaments!

I remember decorating the IF house with lights, they started off pretty, and got a little overboard in the end (the "blue" Christmas was dad's least favorite). I think these people passed "overboard" a few Christmases ago.
I, on the other hand, LOVE this. These people are almost as cool as the people on "Christmas Street" who overdecorate for the holidays.
... who is the small child saying "this is totally wicked awesome cool" in the background. Whomever s/he is, i agree!
That is Chas ... oh, by the way, I am in Georgia right now =) ... I didn't put that in the post =)
Love it! Love the comments in the background--If I were there I would be making the same kinds of sounds. And I didn't know it was possible to go overboard with decorations, especially the home-made kind. I guess I was born a generation too soon. Love to all of you. Merry Christmas. Ho Ho Ho from "The Woman Who Wanted To Grow Up to Be Santa Claus."
The lights are actually put up as a fund raiser for a local Children's hospital. I can't remember the name of the hospital ... but maybe Dan or Crystal could put up the web link to light display.
The website is www.holidayautomation.com
It is a fundraiser for Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta, our amazing children's hospital. Emma has recieved fabulous care for her eye and orthopedic surgeries there. WE love them! Chas and Emma were funny in the background of that video, just like they wanted to be! They have made me play "their" video 10 times!
When i first saw this I wondered what the neighbors thought. It would drive me crazy but they turn it off at a reasonable hour. The system has an FM radio station attached to it so it plays music to the station. It repeats four songs on a loop. I am guessing there is some serious computer technology to make this happen.

You are totally wicked awesome cool. That's all I can say :-)
I came off a little scroogie there in my comment. Especially in the light of all the happiness this dancing lights house brought the GA Wards et al.
Just for the record... I LOVE CHRISTMAS, and glad you all do too.
Mu'AH!
There is nothing like great Christmas lights ... especially when someone else puts them up. I have to admit that I enjoy Christmas lights a lot more when I'm with those who love them so much they can't help but gush with something like "Wicked Awesome" :-).
I like the lights, I don't think I could do something like this. I usually will put lights in the trees out front, but did not even get that done this year. I have 6 Christmas trees out front and it looks cool with the lights out there.
