I pass this moose every day on my way to work and on my way home. This morning however when all color was gone but the red/orange of the warning triangle I though that if Mike were sitting next to me in that moment that I would turn to him and say, "Don't you wish that all moose came with warning signs like that!" It was doubly inspired by Mike because it reminded me of the picture that he took of Timp that Danny commented on as being cool to see the stop sign be the only color amidst all of the white ... so I set up this picture so that it would have that same feel.

I think the moose population should be kept from all roadways even with the warning signs.
Its a great picture, I like the warning sign as well, I wish I could claim that I did it on purpose, but I was trying to get a white picture there with few of man made objects that were in front of me.
I agree, they should stay away from roads ... for our benefit as well as for theirs!
I love the picture and the warning sign. Michael should work on inventing a device that ungulants would recognize and obey. Maybe he could help them all "evolve" into a higher life form that could read signs! As for that moose it is the only ME moose I saw while I was there.
lol. you are so funny kris.
I'm sure everyone clearly understands what a "ungulant" is in as much as they are all members of the hoof/antler family:-).
Great picture Kris ... I'm trying to remember if we saw it but I can't so I assume we didn't or maybe I just can't remember.
