Winter Wonderland

It snowed in GA today! That is the first time in three years that it has snowed so the kids were really excited. It didn't really stick on the roads but the deck had about a 1/2 inch. We went out and had a snowball fight. I don't think enough will be there to cancel school for the kids but they were excited to see the white stuff come!

I just went out on my deck to see if the "winter conditions" have arrived here yet ... I am hoping that we have snow rather than ice ... eek!

The snow turned to sleet and then to rain overnight. there was no snow when we woke up thursday morning.

Oh well. It was fun while it lasted.

We have had enough snow for one winter, are glad to share some with you. Now they can talk about the snow pack in GA and how it will solve your water problems.

Where is the pics of the angels?

Emma wanted to do our angels last night but she was wearing a dress so I said we could do them in the morning. When will I ever learn??? We made our angels in a sleety, snowy ice water puddle but we did them!! Unfortunately, I didn't take their picture before the melted. Sorry!

What fun! Utahans wonder what it would be like to have snow be a novelty! I can imagine that the snowball fight was lots of fun and I can imagine that Crystal won it! The rest of the USA is cheering that GA is getting some moisture--even if it's coming down a little colder than usual!
