Cool calendar, Charlie. If you would post this every week we wouldn't have trouble finding you:) Dad has read the book and I'm just starting it. What about everyone else? I'll hurry and finish it. We could all post our initial feelings, comments, on the blog and see what transpires from there. Maybe we'll have to set up a book-reading blog.
What were we planning on doing for the reading group? Were we going to do an online chat at a set time?
Speaking of which ... why don't we get the games going again ... I'm bored out of my mind being all alone out here not knowing anybody (well hardly anybody) ... it would be a fun diversion for me ... and nice to chat with you all as well =)
I'm almost settled now so I could probably go to the bookstore and get the book. It sounds like it is a pretty quick read. I think that a weekday night other than Monday would probably work best for me.
Crystal and I have read the book. I think an online chat would be the best way to do this. Any night should be fine for us after 9 PM Eastern.
We have both read the book. I can be home most night by 9:00 EST. Pick a date and we will work towards it.
I would love to do game night again. That was fun does every other sunday work for everyone for hearts?
I suggest that we do an online chat each Sunday night between 9 - 9:30 until we run out of things to talk about. If everyone can finish the "Ultimate Gift" by next week we could do the review then.
I could committ to a couple times a month. I never was able to make the card games though even though that sounded fun to me. I won't ask the whole family to make a commitment based on my schedule, beacause i'll probably flake more often than not.
I could definiately committ to every other sunday at 9 EST. (7 MST) I probably wouldn't make a weekely game.
David ... will you set up the games like you did before and re-send us the instructions?
Do you know where we can set up a chat for the book club?
I just finished reading the book so I am set to have the chat.
Lana and I watched the Move this weekend. It was ok but it did not follow the book very well. Make sure you read the book and not just watch the movie.
I can set up the games again. Lets plan on the first and third Sundays at 6:30 PST. That is 9:30 on the east coast we normally play for about an hour. Lets do the book on February 17th. Then start games on March 2nd.
Does anyone have a problem with that?
Chuck can you set up the chat room on the 17th?
