Here is a little video that I took Monday. The apartment doesn't look too much different today. I have an air bed that I borrowed from Dan & Crystal and a beach chair which still has sand from ME in it but no other furniture. I do have a framed picture of the family up and that brightens the whole apt. The movers will be here tomorrow and I will be glad to have a desk to sit at (rather than my beach chair and a box for a table), a real bed to sleep on, and a couch to sit on (oh, yea, and kitchen supplies to cook with).

It looks like a nice place, it makes me miss my places in KCMO. Its great to just have trees everywhere you look. You are lucky to have a nice view out of your apartment, its something a western should always get when moving to the east coast so they don't feel so closed in.

I love your view of the trees and rock and pond. It looks very nice and I'm sure you'll soon have it looking like your home with your photos, rocks and sand! I remember what Suzanne's dad told me when he was helping us move into our house. I was feeling homesick and he had me look out the kitchen big window and said, "Sista, Wahrd, when that yard blooms, y'all goin' forget that dry west." He was right about how beautiful the dogwoods, azaelas and so forth were. So just wait until those trees leaf out and the profusion of blossoms start--I'll try to be there too!

Can't wait to see it full of your stuff and decorated! That view looks like it's worth the 3 flights of stairs walkup.

It is always exciting to move into a new place even if it is totally bare. I'm sure you will love Greensboro. It took me two tries to learn to love NC but it is on the top of my list of fantastic places now.

Dad and I spent Sunday night with Kristi. It is really nice and in a nice place. I think she'll really love it there, and I plan on loving to visit her there!
