January 11th 2008It was such an exiting day for all of us:) We couldnt wait to see Joshy. Eventhough we went through before with Jayson's Graduation the feeling was as exiting as his. As soon as they said there OORAHH we ran to Joshy and gave him a big hug. With tears, smiles and laughs we so happy to have our Joshy back:)

Where is the smile Josh, I know Marines are allowed to smile, Jayson is smiling.
It was wonderful to finally meet Jaylin and ooh and ahh over how cute she is and laugh at all her cute little ways. I especially loved holding her when she took a nap in my arms because I could get in a lot of kisses. I'm proud of Josh--it's a great accomplishment to make it through Marine boot camp.
Josh was pretty serious and if you had the crap beat out of you mentally for three straight months you's be pretty serious too. Jaylin on the other hand had lots of smiles!
Josh did eventually smile; in fact he's been laughing and goofing off ... but he does revert back to serious PDQ when he needs to.
You can tell he grew up a lot. They put him through some hard times, but he made it, and he's now looking forward to building his career and in time getting his degree. He's requested orders to Iraq and should know after the next few months if that is where he will be stationed.

Congratulations Josh. Let us know your new address. Even though you are hopping for Iraq. I hope they send you to Japan. We have some friends from the Air Force that have been trying to get us to come see them in Japan maybe we could see you both at the same time.
