Beautiful! It looks like a magical forest! I'd love to learn to CC Ski, it looks like a fabulous way to see the sites.
Looks like a lot of fun! How far did you guys go? I have never been cross country skiing. I love downhill so much that anytime I am near snow I head for the lifts. I will have to take it up when it gets to hard to downhill.
We did not go far that day. Matthew's friend had never skied before. Mt Spokane has 30km of groomed trails so you can go all day and not have to repeat many trails.
You should come to Spokane some time in the winter we would love to take you skiing. We have extra CC skis and it very easy to learn. I like it better than downhill so much more peaceful.
This has been a great winter for days like this with the trees flocked everywhere you look. I think I am to the point where I like to cross country ski better then I do down hill, but maybe that is because I have became cheep. For me to take all my kids downhill skiing, it would cost me over 700 for the day. So three days skiing cost as much as a week at Disneyland with the same kids, a week long cruise for Laura and me, a month in a yurt........Skiing is fun, but just too much money anymore.

Looks like a wonderful fun day. The snow on the trees is as beautiful as any I've seen. It's a great winter for snow sport lovers.
