Happy Birthday to the 13th Grandpig!

Katie has reached her Double Digit birthday. She is 10 years old now and we love having her in our family! It is hard to believe that she has been with us for 10 years. She is a great kid! We have had quite a run of birthdays in the ward family this month!!!

I love Katie's birthday because she freely shares it with me. I celebrate on her day too! I tell her every year that the day she was born my heart was changed forever. There is something magical about the day one becomes a parent. We couldn't ask for a better first born! She keeps us all in line. Love you Katie!!!!

It was a great cake! Crystal did it herself. It had a surprise layer of chocolate mouse (not moose) in the middle that was really tasty!

You know once you hit the double digits there is really no where to go from there. It is 90 years before you get to the triple digits ... but boy oh boy are there bragging rights when you hit those triple digits!

Okay this is all crazy talk about the cake! It not like I haven't ever made one without burning the heck out of it or dropping it on the floor! I only did that stuff to liven up Danny's birthday!
