oh my heck i've never seen so many people (or cooked for so many people! i'm the grandma who cooks!) there were ... jq's parents, her four sisters + one son-in-law. Jay and Jaqui's best friends. Jon, Deb, Joshie, Clay, Em and uncle joe who announced on jaylin's second day on earth that he was plenty old enough to walk to the soda machine by himself (thank you very much!) as he is no longer the baby of the family! hmph.
were now down to just us, but i'm leaving grandpapa jon in charge today and taking Em, Clay and Joe home.
Baby is doing well. She wore her pink Cowboy's jersy last night and cheered for her team - that might explain that come from behind miracle!
Good Grief! What a crowd. We never had anyone at the hospital for any of the kids births.
I'm glad it was such a family affair!
we got booted from the room for the actual birth and waited all together in the waiting room. I didn't want anyone around me, but Jaqui is so warm and welcoming and Jayson so appreciative of family and both took to heart all the advice that was given. we all consider ourselves blessed and taught by those two (now three!)
I just love the sound video--I play it over and over. We played it for grandma-great tonight. Jaylin is a beautiful baby--I can see a little of her daddy in the black and white picture. It's not much fun to be a great grandma and have the baby be so far away--drats
