Here is Em and Kristi at Slide Rock near Sadona as we celebrated Em's 14th birthday. It was a nice day and these two had lots of fun sliding down the river.In fact fun was had by all during the her birthday stay including the Arizona cousins as we got together for a nice dinner.

Sliding down those rocks was a lot of fun!!! We went up there to get away from the heat and there were a lot of other people with the same idea! Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon are both very beautiful! Just one more thing to love about Arizona!!!
I've been lucky to get to be in town for some of the 14th Birthday celebrations.
The river looks like a blast. Shelby is counting the days until she gets her turn.
Thanks Gram and Gramp for so many fun traditions including this one. I've sent five of my six to experience their 14th with their grandparents and they've all had a lot of fun (a few fish hook misshaps notwithstanding).
Em and I were talking yesterday about her tia Kristi who was a teenager when Em was born. Em would like to be a great auntie to Jaylin like kristi has been to her ....!
Em has lots of practice being a great cousin so I am sure that she will be a great aunt!
