Well ... it's not a great pic, but the Maryland Ward-Anderson family wanted to show off our tomatoes too....!
Clay and I created this salad (he says it isn't really a salad since there is no lettuce, but I disagree) with heirloom tomatoes, basil from our rooftop garden, and olive oil and balsamic vinegar from Italy (my thinking here is that is I buy it in Balto's little Italy from a small business I'm still buying local ... uh hu.)
We're planning to attend the Maryland State Fair over the weekend, along with football games for both Em and Joe; so look for more (and hopefully better) pics from us soon.

Looks Tasty! I don't think I have tried tomatoes with basalmic like this. I will have to give it a try.
This salad looks very good, better then any salad that has lettuce getting in the way of good home grown tomatoes. I think the yellow tomatoes really add to dishes like this.
Getting any picture posted is better than I have done. I think everything is better with Balsamic on it. I buy my balsamic from my local Costco. It would be hard to just go local.
YUM!
Wow that really looks great! We need to come and give it a taste
I wish we were there enjoying such a delitious dish ... we love tomatoes fixed like this. Isn't great to have a garden so you can enjoy wonderful healthy food just few feet away.
