Wall of salsa




I picked the red ones yesterday, and had to put them up tonight. I put cilantro in both batches and i am not a big fan, so these are for others to enjoy.

Now you are just showing off! :) I don't know if I would touch the green stuff but the red looks good.

Looks like you are having a heck of a year. Most of our extra tomatoes never make it to the can. We usually give them to friends or neighbors fresh.

After having green salsa in Mexico, I would be a little sacred to eat much green. I am sure that Mom is with me.

I was informed that my original comment sounds like we have not put any tomatoes away. Crystal has in fact been canning like a house elf (Harry Potter reference) the last three weeks.

I meant to say that if we have 'extra' tomatoes we usually give them away fresh.

Only 1 more week until I can partake of my dilly beans!

We ate the green today and it was very very good ... best of all it wasn't too hot

It's yellow I tell you, its yellow. I will make some next time with Yellow, Red, and Orange peppers to make sure its really Yellow next time.

Looks green to me =) ... but regardless of the color, I can attest to it being delicious!
