Emma had her first sparring match tonight at Tae Kwon Do. She has been itching to "shadow spar"ever since she got her orange belt and became eligible. She must show sparring techniques before she moves on to green belt level and tonight she put on a demonstration. Emma looked great! Of course, she smiles the whole time! I was so proud of her... I couldn't stop grinning either. In this picture she is showing off her amazing spinning side kick.

Emma - you are the bomb. I'm proud of you ... way to put your energy to good use and learn new skills. I'll look forward to seeing your pics when you get that green belt. at the pace you're moving it's a sure thing.
