patient update
had my post-op visit today. doctor and kristi think i am doing remarkably well. to celebrate, kristi took me to red butte gardens. it was very beautiful with lots of beautiful flowers in bloom. we had lunch in a very fun place--ruth's up emmigration canyon. i am really feeling good but find having my shoulder immobilized very restrictive in what i can do--like typing with my left hand, not being able to capitalize. i also can't sleep very well. physical therapy is brutual but kristi and dad make me do it anyway. the reunion was wonderful, especially all the wonderful memories of being with the people i love most. thank you all for your love and prayers. i know they have helped me.

thanks--today we went to Brighton and walked around Siver Lake. It was beeautiful, peeaceful and an easy walk. Loved your pictures at the amusement park. Six kids are a snap--just ask me! love you
Can't wait to see you tomorrow. This retired life isn't much fun when your best friend can't travel with you ... had a great dinner tonight at Chick-Fil-A and then we went to watch Tae Kwon Do and then back to house to listen to ALL the kids read their books. Great fun!
