Crystal and I were going out on a date when I heard a warning about a severe thunderstorm with hail coming through our area. I called home and asked the kids to go out to the Garden and pick all the tomatoes that were ripe and nearly ripe. I was shocked when we came home to find all the tomatoes that they had picked. We will have to decide how to can all of these. :) Hooray to the brave GA ward kids for beating the storm and getting the harvest in safely!

Why to go Kids! Hurting a Tomato is a crime
There is nothing worse then losing your tomatoes early. I have been able keep garden tomatoes most years into November, one year the second of December. Way to go kids.
