This isn't a very good picture but it shows my first day back playing golf on a golf course. I played with a good friend of mine on a par 3 golf course. Besides hitting his own tee shots Dan also hit all of mine except on the 9th hole ( for the most part he did a better job hitting his shots than mine which I kept expressing in a good natured way). We had a great time walking and playing together. Dan is a 6 handicap which is three shots better than my 9. You can tell by the post that it was a lot of fun to almost play golf again. Charlie and then Kristi took me putting which was very enjoyable. Thanks again to all the kids in helping get their old dad back to full health.
Love you all,
Dad

Glad you are back to golfing. You must be feeling almost back to normal if you can play nine holes. I am wondering how you can you can have a par 4 hole on a par 3 course?
As you can see from the card, the first hole is 280 yards which is a par 4 and the 2nd is over 200 yards which is a long par 3. You understand all I did was chip onto the green if dan missed the green and then I putted, the only exception was #9 which I played by myself.
It looks like you did well, next time I would let him hit two and play the best ball.........
Awesome!!! That is great to hear that your are up to 9 holes!
or even better, have him hit 2 and flip on each how which ball belongs to each golfer....
Mike, He asked me to just that but then he wouldn't have been hitting my ball. I was happy how it turned out and we're doing it again tomorrow. However, tomorrow I'll have three players who can hit my ball so we'll probably have them take turns hitting for me. On the short par threes (110 yards or less I plan to hit my own tee shots. Stay tuned for my score.
