Dad is doing good. I had him put his heart pillow in the photo it is the only way you can tell he had the surgery. He is getting around the house, and can walk about a block outside. He has gone on a few short car rides even made it to the first hour of church yesterday. If you are coming bring any books you think Dad might like. He is reading a high speed, I told him today he would have to read the JCPenney catalogue next.
This looked like what the Easter bunny must bring in AZ.

Woo hoo! Lookin' good! Great pictures of the cactus flowers too!
Good news. He looks so much better than when I was there. Keep going Dad!
I may look better than I really am ... still looking for symphathy:-)! Actually I'm doing pretty good and for the most part feel ok but still have the icky taste in my mouth. When that's gone I be over to the golf course putting and chipping ... well at lease watching others do so.
All the kids, including Dave, have done a lot of hiking while they have been here. Most of the time they leave early in the morning and do about 5 - 6 miles before we see them again. We enjoy there ambition!
THEIR ambition
I was thinking of going putting with you while I am there. I think that chipping would be too much but putting seems doable if the slight lateral trunk flexion is not too much ... ask the doc when you go in ... it would be good therapy!
Sure appreciate all your good help David. It's been great sharing the week with you. Love you--
Dad, make sure that your not starting your putting from the tee box.... You look a lot better then when I was there a few weeks ago.
Life is good but sitting around all day takes a lot of effort. I'm committed to walk a mile a day by the middle of next week. Walking about half of that now.
