Watching the sun set at 8,500'

You have to look at these pictures in reverse order to get the real effect but this is what a sunset looks like from 8,500' as it sets into the Pacific Ocean. Pretty awesome!

Can't beat a good sunset. No matter how hectic the day a sunset seems to draw it to a peaceful close. It looks beautiful.

We low pointed but didn't go to the top of Manua Kea.

How did you get back down in the dark?

We turned the headlights on. There is a road all the way to the top; asked David, he and Lana been to the top we only drove to the observatory which is about 3/4 of the way to the top.
