Here is a link to a hysterical video of cars trying to go up a hill in portland. The whole sped up effect of the time lapse is really fun. The cars look like ants scurrying around. Crystal and I giggled when watching it. I especially loved the people that kept trying. I had a similar experience on Thursday night trying to get home from work. I had to back down a hill that I couldn't get up. The roads are slick here. We have sledding hills within walking distance so the kids are having a ball.

I will post some pictures later.
I shoveled about 5 inches of snow out of the driveway tonight. In case the baby decides to come tonight I don't want to get stuck in my own driveway!!!

This is ROFL worthy ... i loved it. I can't wait to show it to my guys ... this will really tickle their sense of humor.
thanks for sharing and stay warm!
Keep the driveway open and hopefully you don't have any hills to navigate on the way to the hospital!! Mom and I just watched the video and it took us back to times when we have tried to make it home in Bountiful and Ammon only to be forced to turn around and walk or ride the snow machine home. We have about 12” of snow here with more expected tonight and tomorrow. I went skiing with David J. at Snow Basin yesterday … the snow was fluffy, the wind was blowing with great gusto, and about half the mountain was closed but other than that it was great. Besides the cold windy day, it was nearly impossible to see where you were going and what you were skiing on but other than all of that it was a nice day. In other words, you didn’t miss anything by not being there.
Happy travels,
Dad
We love watching Northwest cable news when it snow is Portland and Seattle. They always find a snowy hill and there is never any shortage of fools they try to drive up them.
after driving into work today. I don't think my county has any snow plows. As soon as I crossed the county line the roads were clear and I could drive 40 MPH.
