Let it snow!

The last week has brought some pretty extreme weather for Western Washington.  From what I have been told by co-workers it snows here sometimes but usually melts the next day.  Not the case this week.  We ended up with a couple of inches of snow and the temperatures are in the teens.

Of course with snow we had to have snowball fights, snowmen and snow angels.  Here is a picture of the snow angels being made.  I don' thing Katie actually got down in the snow.  She just watched the rest of the show!

Our Snowman has decided to visit our Nativity.

They are calling for 4 more inches of snow tonight.  We will see if it actually happens!

I heard that it is the coldest temperature in the Seattle area in 30 years and you're lucky enough to be there! Please be careful on your commute--We have had two days of constant rain from the same storm system--weather people says it originated in Siberia. (Love the pregnant snow angel!)

I asked the kids if they had ever seen a hippo make a snow angel: They just looked at me funny like "huh"? Dan laughed way too loudly at my jole.

hippos are very dangerous animals. Especially those who do snow angels.
