You gotta love the rain to love Maine!!
I took this picture earlier this week. I discovered when I lived in Maine before that you have to be able to love a day like this in order to love Maine ... because there are a lot of them!! Today was another wet day. When I was in Bangor it was a little disheartening but once I was back on the island it was its own kinds of beautiful.

So is your job in Bangor and you are commuting from Bar Harbor?
No, my job is in Bar Harbor and I am commuting from Otter Creek. It is about 4 miles outside of Bar Harbor. It is probably about a 7 mile to commute to work.
I think it would be fun to winter there once or twice in my lifetime, it would be a great opportunity to see and experience a part of the country that i have never seen.
It is hard to beat a 7 mile commute. Right now I have a 6.25 mile commute and it is great!
Maybe we'll change our mind about coming for Thanksgiving! Looks like we'd better bring our rain coats.
