Airport Boredom

Snapped this picture from C terminal in the Atlanta Airport on monday morning. I was supposed to fly out sunday night but I got there 57 minutes before departure instead of the required 60. I got put on the next mornings flight so I got to go through all the joy of visiting the airport again! The one silver lining was that I got to see the sunrise today over the airport. Since there are no trees around you can acutally see the sun set and rise from here.

57 minutes! and airlines wonder why they have a hart time making money. I would rather drive anytime I can.

I agree! There has to be a pretty significant time difference between a flight and a drive for me to choose to fly. Say like going to Atlanta from SLC =)

Well, they know they have most people trapped with this mode of travel. Most people will just plan on spending 3 extra hours of their life at the airport so they don't have to drive. We are going on a cruise this winter and I trust Laura 92 Honda more to get me there on time then I do the airlines. We were looking at going out of FL and I was planing on flying out early with 8 later flights that could get us there, just in case the airline screws up. In the end I think I have decided to drive to CA again because I know that I can get there for sure.

On the upside Dan, when you feel like you need to see a good old sunrise, you know where to go!
