So ... is there a way to be notified when someone puts up a new posting to the blog or writes a comment to the blog? I feel like I am missing comments that people post because I don't always go back and check older posts for comments.

I don't think there is a way to do this Kate. I can make more posts show up on the page. That way they won't go 'away' as fast.
my page shows green if I have not seen something. It is white if there has been a post.
When I posted, I wanted to see if there were any new comments. In the upper right corner it said "72 posts" and today it said "74" and sure enough, there were two new comments. Good luck. Lana
