We had Dad, Mom, David and Lana and Grandma to our house over the weekend. It was quite a crowd. Mom and Dad got bumped to an areobed all the kids slept on the floor but it was a good time. Stacey and Ben and Amelia Harris came over as well. It was fun to have so much family there for the event. I was glad David could make it with all the weather we have had. He doesn't show up in any of the pictures we took because they left right after sacrament meeting to try to avoid driving over the pass in the dark. Stacey came down even though her house was threatened by a landslide and flooding. Lucy was not happy after the blessing so these aren't the best pictures in the world but we will have good memories for a long time to come. Here are some of the pictures of the weekend.

Dan gave Lucy a beautiful blessing, commenting on the meaning of her name--light--and how she is a light and joy in their family. I'm so glad we have been blessed to have her sweet and cute little persona in our family. She learns and grows everyday.
The last picture is a four generation picture ... I'm happy Great Grandma was able to be with us. Amen to what Mom wrote; it was a beautiful blessing by a very loving father. While Lucy wasn't happy in these pictures she was very attentive during her blessing. I think she enjoyed what her dad had to say too.
She is cute little thing, but maybe she was happy at church because she was toasty warm and her red little toes are cold there at the house......JK
We feel bad that we were not able to get up there.
