Winter in Spokane

It has been a snowy winter in Spokane. The kids have missed a week of school already, and we live in the city limits. Some of the outlying areas have misted 2 weeks. They have even closed our church. It does not seem to want to stop.

This is on the trails behind our house if you weigh more than liberty it takes snowshoes or cross country Skis to go on the trails.

This should be the entrance to the trail the is at the end of our street.

Man that makes our snow storms in GA look wimpy!!

I bet you guys have had lots of fun and I'm sure you will be ready for spring!! How many sleds have the kids worn out? :)

Good grief, that is a lot of snow. I bet you all have cabin fever by now--except for Matthew whose hoping for more snow days :-)
I won't tell you about our warm weekend, no sense in making you feel bad!

Just to make you feel better the first blossoms of spring are starting to appear in ga. Now when it is summer and 100% humidity you can tell me how pleasant things are in Spokane!!

Your place looks like Great Grandma's ... she has snow piled 15feet high in front of her house. But for kids this is lots of fun. Enjoy it while you can.
Love,
Dad
