Days after I moved here I went to the car wash in 70 degree weather and vacuumed out my car. I came to my ice scrapper and I lamented "I probably won't be using this for a while". Well ... I certainly haven't used it like I would have in Utah or Maine but we got a pretty big North Carolina snow on Valentines Day. The snow was actually still on my car after work and around town in areas where there was shade a day or two after the storm!

North Carolina's worst weather is generaly in February ... looks like this year is no exception.
NC can get some pretty good winter storms. They are just far enough north and get enough moisture from the gulf that every once in a while you get a doozy!
Glad you got to use your scraper!
That should make you a little less homesick!
I enjoy it but I think that it actually makes me more homesick
I love snowy days in the South, yee ha! We were in sunny florida on Valentine's Day. I'm sure Dan will be posting some pictures from Seattle when he gets a minute.
