I have been wanting to ride the front Runner for some time so today I'm posting this story as we ride between Farmington and Ogden. We'll ride it again for sure.
Waiting for Trax after lunch

The Front runner Repair and Maintenance shed ... when I was a 2 or 3 years old Grandpa Ward used to take me to the Ogden train station so when I saw this repair shop I had to take a picture. I still love trains!

Walking the Church flower gardens accross the street from Temple Square

Lunch at the "Garden" Restaurant on the 10th floor of the Joseph Smith building. We had a wonderful view of the Temple.

Grandma, me, Mom and Uncle Kelly riding the Front Runner for the 1st time. What fun we have.

Looks like a fun ride!
Looks like you had a great day. Is this just a train to try and take pressure off the freeway?
Looks like a nice train. Can you ride it all the way from Ogden? It is much nicer to let someone else do the driving,
I love the trains... Pretty soon you'll be able to ride it from Ogden to Spanish Fork, that is if you can afford it. Dad says they have a family pass for the summer. I guess it's a good time to ride it!
Train goes from Pleasent View to SLC with stops in Ogden, Clearfield, Layton, Framington and Woods Cross but in the next year it will go to Provo and I would guess to Nephi in time and maybe St. George some day. Right now 4 people can ride for $10.00 and that includes riding Trax as well.
that's more than 75% off the regular rates. Wow!
