By the way the squirrel song has nothing to do with the weekend festivities. We let the kids listen to the Ray Stevens CD for the first time and they thought this song was particularly funny.

Whale Watching Trip
Stacey was kind enough to invite the Puyallup Wards to go whale watching with her fourth grade class We were happy to oblige. We had a great weekend. We learned to skip rocks from the master of skipoleogy (uncle Wayne) saw lots of wildlife and (maybe) most importantly we had a sandwich at the only Chick Fil A in Washington. (thanks for the tip Lana) Of course I took too many pictures to share. The whale pictures didn't turn out as well as I had hoped but it was still SUPER cool to see them in their habitat.

You got GREAT whale pictures! I was too slow with my camera and I only got pictures of the ocean after the whale submerged.
I need to make a movie too, but I can't do it until I get some good whale pictures. I would love it if you could email some to me or post them on shutterfly or something where I could access them too.
Thanks!
Looks like too much fun! I'm glad that you were able to see the whales!
That comment from "Dad" was really from Stacey. He was using my computer and logged in. I really do want some of your great whale pictures.
Looks like a great trip. It is always better to see whales when you go whale watching but just being on the water is the best part.
Gosh, that was a fun trip for me! And Lila was holding "my Lucy" when she was smiling! (I always was jealous of Lila!)
That was a cute smile when Lila was holding Lucy =)
