Happy Happy Birthday Birthday

Well folks, Jon has turned 30 for the 16th time. Clever fellow to give his birthday away ....

There is no need to ask Eliott how he wants to celebrate his birthday ... every year it is the same request: "Take me to Red Lobster and buy me a big old lobster ..." This year it was a TWO POUNDER ...

Lucky for us Clay and Nate's employment nets us a discount on Eliott's expensive tastes.

We had a great time laughing, eating and watching Eliott and Jon enjoy an evening out. We were lucky to be joined by Miara, Gabby and teeny tiny Taylor.

Happy birthday to both of you guys. We tried to call but forgot the three hour time difference but we would love to visit with both of you when you have time to call. If I ordered a two pound lobster, half of it would go home with me. On secone thought grandma would help me eat the other half ... she love lobster too. Love to all,
Dad/Grandpa

Happy birthday. Hope you had a wonderful day! It is hard to beat a good lobster. I have never dealt with 2 lbs of lobster though. :)

by the way I ate at red lobster earlier this year and was pleasantly suprised with their new menu. Worlds better than it was a few years ago.

Love you, E and Jon. Sorry we didn't get to talk to you on your birthday, but I'm even sorrier that I didn't get to share in that big lobster!

Happy birthday. I'm glad I wasn't there to watch the massacre. I love lobster, but only after it's been cleaned. I don't think I could handle eating it like that.

On my mission in NC a guy asked me and my companion if we liked oysters. He said no. I said yes, remembering the 12 or so oysters we got each year at Christmas.

When we got to their house there was litterally a truckload full of oysters... we shucked them for hours into great big metal pots. It was so gross. The bowls were all full, and then I asked, "what are we going to do with all these." And he replied, "you only shuck what you're going to eat." I thought I would die. In fact I'm not sure a part of me didn't die that day. YUCK!

Somehow I got over it... Still love oysters, as long as someone else shucks them, and they come by the dozen not by the DOZER.
