Homecoming 2008

Here's Clay and his lovely girlfriend Anastasia at her home before homecoming dinner. They went to the Bugaboo Steakhouse for dinner and then went to the dance at Watkins Mill High School. Clay, Anastasia, and some of their friends came back to the house to watch a movie and hang out.

Here's Eliott and his lovely girlfriend Maira at our home after he made her, with my help, a tuna salad sandwhich waiting for her brother-in-law to pick them up to take them to the high school. After the dance they went to her cousin's son's birthday party until they went home that evening.

Awww... they grow up so fast! School dances were always a lot of fun for me. Mostly because my friends and I made them group activities. I was trying to count how many I went to... but I can't remember all of them, I can't remember missing any though.

You guys look great. Thanks for sharing.

Awww they do grow up fast. Unlike Charlie I can remember all my school dances because there were not a lot of them, that whole dating thing scared me to death. Give me some light powder and a sled to a dance back then and I would have been very happy.

I am glad to hear that you had a good time, but I am not sure how anyone could have a good time where tuna is involved....YUCK.

A high school dance? That is simple torture! I'm glad I don't have to go to another one ever again! :)

They look great. I hope everyone had a good time.

I agree with Mike on the tuna in most cases.

I am with Mike never did like the dances I only went to one that was not a girls choice and that was because Mom made me go to my Prom. How ever Tuna is great as long as it is made with the bread spread from Kraft! Glad you had a nice time.

I loved my high school dances. I loved the dressing up in a beautiful fancy dress and wearing make-up and the good night kiss under the porch light. (Those kisses were not as good as the ones your Dad gave me, though--especially the kiss when we got married!)

I too loved going to school dances and it looks like the Marylanders had a great time. I can remember that kiss too Grandma!

Eliott is the cheapest date ever .. tuna sandwiches made by your mom? I gotta say though, if the dream of becoming a detective (stay on the honor roll and you've got a shot!) comes true you'll be glad tuna makes you happy.

Clay's Anastasia is away at college (Salsburry) .. so this was really a "homecoming" for her. Next year we think Clay will be over on the Eastern shore too .. he's planning to major in horticulture at the U of MD, Eastern Shore (a very short ride to Salsburry ... hmmmm!)
