Hi Y'all ..
I'm back from MS and almost human again. I found my camera yesterday in one of the boxes, but only AFTER Jaylin's 1st birthday party. No worries - her daddy and mommy took 1,382 pictures so we'll get some up soon.
In the meantime - i have a question:
What is a pretzel?

"A pretzel is a bread pastry of German origin, that has the shape of a three looped knot or twisted braid. Pretzels are either soft or hard. Hard pretzels have evolved into a variety of shapes from knotted loops to straight "pretzel sticks" (called "Salzstangen" in German, Ropi in Hungarian). Hard to argue with Mike, but A pretzel is soft, with mustard and you get them at sporting events.

I'm pretty sure Deb is going down a different road than the one each of us are following but here is a little history lesson on how this twisty, yummy (soft variety) food source got started:
"Pretzels date back to A.D. 610, when an Italian monk rewarded students by serving them baked scraps of leftover dough. He rolled and twisted the dough to resemble his students, who folded their arms across their chests when praying.
The monk called his bread treats "pretiolas," Latin for "little rewards."

I have a student I call "pretzel boy." He can take off his shoes and socks, put his feet on his desk, in his desk, around his neck, and in his mouth. He performs these stunts all day long...usually when he is supposed to be doing his math or reading or writing. He is a pretzel.
