Chas turned 7 October 2nd. Chas lives his life with great enthusiasm. He is almost always the first one up in our family and we love him so much.
We made Chas wait until his birthday to open his present from Grandma and Grandpa so he was up nice and early on October 2nd.Some facts about Chas.
He has more muscles than teeth right now.
He is named after Dad. This year Dad turned 70 and Chas turned 7. (as a side note, Dad is twice as old as me) Dad wanted Chas to wait until his birthday but like usual Chas wasn't going to wait for anyone.
Chas is an excellent reader and loves to sound words out.

Happy birthday BIG Chas! I told your dad that I'm twice as old as he is and I now notice that I'm 10 times as old as you are. But when you are 37, two years older that your dad is today, I hope I'll still be hitting golf balls and playing with your kids. When that happens I be about to celebrate my 100th birthday! Wow, I can't wait until you're 37 but I'm sure that sounds like a long time from now for you. In the meantime, you and I will have to remember this Blog comment as we celebrate one another’s birthdays in the future. Ok?
We have had so much fun with Chas on this birthday. He is a riot to be around, an exhausting, fun. charming, teasing riot! In fact, we often comment that he has inherited the other Charles Douglas Ward's motor. GO GO GO!
I agree, he has two speeds; high and higher.
