Crystal and I went out to Seattle last weekend. Here are some of the pictures from this trip and a trip before.

This is the view from the hotel I stay at. the mountain is usually out in the morning before the clouds roll in when the sun comes up. It is an amazing sight when you can see it.

The Seattle Temple. It sits right off the freeway and is very impressive.

The weekend we were there was really nice weather. On our way back to the hotel the mountain came out and we were able to get a nice view of it. Mount Raineir is a funny. In some spots it looks huge and really close to Seattle, in other spots like this one it looks hundreds of miles away.

Of course a visit to Seattle wouldn't be complete without a visit to Pikes place market. I thought it was just a huge fish market. In reality it is really an outdoor market with all sorts of food, crafts and flowers.

mmm. Fish.

It is even fresh!

These are words to live by!! :)

After checking out the market we drove across to Salty's restraunt which sits across the bay from downtown. We checked out the view. We thought these Salmon were pretty funny all tied up Christmas lights. We didn't eat at Salty's though. Way too much $!

This is a sculpture at the Seattle Temple. I have always loved it because it reminds me of how Crystal loves to play with the kids. She is a great mother. Being apart from the kids was hard for her but we did have a fun weekend.

This is puget sound in the evening. It was a beautiful night and watching the sunset there was neat. Of all the places I have been I count the Seattle area as one of the prettiest. Due to all the rain the place is as green and as pretty as anything I have ever seen.

Please tell me when you are in town! I'd love to visit!
I agree with all you said--although I've never spent much time there. One thing Crystal and the girls would love to see is a doll museum that Dixie took me to once. Coming into Seattle at night on the ferry from Canada is an incredible sight too.
Seattle is a great town. Pikes is great fun and a great place to eat. I love to ride the ferry into Seattle. We are planning on doing Pikes and the ferry as part of the Sib. When you where at the temple you where only 4 hours from our house. We will have to find a way to meet next time you are over.
So we now will have to refer to you as the WA Wards Squared.
$5.99 a lb for tomatoes? Ouch! you are going to miss your garden. Mike send me tomatoes too!
We will have to give ourselves a new nickname that is for sure! You can grow tomatoes there but it is not as easy as the hot sunny south. Usually you get the first tomatoes the last few weeks of July.
We will be able to grow lots of lettuce and cucumbers. I will trade my lettuce for the Utah Tomatoes!
I'm trying to catch up with all the blog postings. Seattle is a beautiful place and I love to go there ... you guys moving there will get us to the other side of the state.
