On June 10, 2008 Joe graduated from South Lake Elementary School.
Mom and Dad watched proudly from the audience as he climbed the stairs in his newly acquired grey slacks and white dress shirt to claim his diploma. He's the last of three Anderson's to graduate from South Lake and the fourth Anderson to attend Neelsville Middle School.
On a recent tour of Neelsville the principal, Ms. Dotty McCain asked all the kids who had older siblings who had attended Neelsville to stand up. She took one look at Joe and knew for sure that there was another Anderson headed her way. Lucky for Joe it's been a long time since Josh gave her a hard time and E and Clay left a good impression.
Next year Clay will be a mighty senior, E will be a sophomore and Joe will be in the 6th grade at Neelsville. Between now and then there will be a whole lot of swimming, a visit from beloved Uncle Chuck, a trip to Mississippi and a one-kid-at-a-time visit to South Carolina and the J3 family.
Long Live Summer.
ps. the camera forgot to take the plane from MS to MD ... pictures are being developed the old fashioned way ....
