A few years ago the NC Wards took me to the Outer-banks of NC. I was cleaning up my email account and came across these. There are pictures of the girls and Chas in a blanket, somehow Dan stayed out of the pictures. I think these pictures are from a later trip then I took with them, but we still did have fun. If you have never been there, you should plan a trip there sometime and if you can talk Dan and Crystal into being tour guides all the better.

I think a more likely tour guide will be Kate since she is much much much closer to the outer banks than we are now. I think that St Louis is a closer drive than the outer banks for us now. We had memorable trips with both Michael and Kristie when we lived in North Carolina. I would love to go back someday. Georgia has its own set of barrier islands like those in NC but they do not seem to be as remote or wild. NC outer banks is truly a special place.
I am sure Kristy would be a good tour guide, maybe even find a cache or two along the way. When I get to NC next, Laura and I will be heading out there, hopefully with Kristy as a tour guide.
I think that is me standing behind Orville or Wilber ... pretty funny picture!
I tried to go once with Mom but we had so much fun stoping along the way it got dark before we could get there. I will have to try again with Kate
The Outer Banks are one of my favorite places, especially Okracoke. Spring break this year, we are camping on a GA barrier island, Jekyll Island. Anyone want to come? You are always welcome! April 5th-9th
I did not even see you there, rather funny to find another Ward in the picture.
Jekyll Island looks like a nice place, make sure you sing happy birthday to me on your last day, and let the wind blow out my candle for me on my birthday cake!!
Makes me homesick for NC. I never felt I finished my time there. I would love to go back there. And how cute are little Katie and Emma!
