Here we are at the Chinese Culture Center in Phoenix during this years B & S Reunion. As you can see from the picture below we had a great time and all is well with these brothers and sisters. It will take several weeks to recover from holding-your-sides laughing at and with all the story tellers. Monty took a ton of pictures so I'm sure he will have many to post on the Larsen Blogg. Mom and her helpers cooked the best meals ever ... I can't wait until I get some more of her special fish dinner that we enjoyed so much. It's in the same class as her Egg Plant Parmasan. Uncle Leo won the Mexican Train game ... Wayne was leading but he went home before the game was over so Leo surged ahead and took the trophy! Saturday, March 21, 2009

More Lucy
new job for Deb
On a lighter note - Joe, upon hearing that my interviews with the Danya President, COO, and Vice-president (whom I will report to) resulted in me being offered the job exclaimed, "REALLY? They picked YOU out off all the people?" The look on his face said it all .... "Why on earth would anyone think you're that smart, especially compared to everyone else?!" ... through the eyes of our twelve year old children we are reminded to be humble. Eliott just asked for a raise in his allowance.
Lucy loves basketball!
This smile is because Lucy thinks it is great to be almost 3 months old and watching March Madness. She loves to lay on the floor, kick her cool kicking toy and watch basketball on the big screen. Lucy also appreciates the fact that if her Mom is watching basketball, she isn’t driving anywhere and that means….NO CARSEAT! Happy days are here again!

March Sledness
Anyhow it snowed here this week. We only got a couple inches but it was enough to do some sledding runs. I bought the big orange sled at a local hardware store on sale. I bought it on a nice warm day. The lady in front of me was buying flowers for spring planting and I was buying sled. She laughed at the divergence in our purchases.Monday night we took Lucy for her first sledding run. It was fun!
We weren't sure if Lucy was thrilled with her first sledding trip or not but we had fun! It has been FREEZING here since the snow came on monday. Lots of snow on the ground in the shady spots which is pretty rare here. The nice thing about freezing weather is you get clear skies and a view of both sets of mtns.
After Lucy's run crystal took her home. The kids and I trekked over to the Jr. High and made quite a few runs on the bigger hill. We stayed until it was too dark to see. Good times!Wednesday, March 11, 2009
Let the madness begin
I keep toying with the idea of having some sort of trophy or prize for the winner. Any ideas or sugestions would be helpful.
I won last year and for my prize I moved to washington! Crystal and the kids lost last year. Their prize was also moving to Washington.
Also remember rule #1. No cheering for Carolina allowed. Anyone who picks them to win it all is a bad bad bad person.

Windows Live Writer
I have downloaded a new tool called Windows Live Writer that makes blogging on the Pig much easier. Live writer makes creating a blog post much easier as you are writing it in an environment similar to Microsoft Word. Cut and Paste works so you don’t have to upload your pictures. Very nice. I thought I would pass that along to you to make your blogging easier if you are so inclined. I showed it to Kate when she was here and she liked it. I thought the rest of you might like it as well.
Below is a screen shot of my last blog entry.

Mad Hatters
Crystal bought a loom that makes knitting easy. She made a had for Lucy and the girls made their own hats. Given that we live somewhere chilly the hats come in handy. Scarves have also been made since this picture was taken. The girls wear their hats when they walk to and from school and on the weekends when they are outside.
This is Lucy’s special hat with a flower added on. She is quite the stylin’ girl!
This is our Green Eggs picture, although we had green eggs with sausage gravy and biscuits instead of ham. I figured it was close enough since I didn't want to go to the store! This is Lucy having a bad day. Not really, she was actually super smiley until I went to get my camera and then she pulled this face. Katie and I laughed and laughed at her.
Lucy getting tired of her Mom trying to get a smile for the camera.
And now she is prepared to use her Infant Tae Kwon Do moves to make me stop with the camera. She is also giving me the skunk eye, she learned it from Katie.

Tired of Lucy Pictures yet?????
