As all of you pigs know the GA Wards love Fontana. I counted up and we have been there 9 times as a family over the years that we lived in NC and GA. The first time we went both girls were in Diapers still and Chas was not even a glimmer in his mothers eye. We have driven 5 different cars up there, stayed in 4 different campsites and have loved it. For whatever reason Fontana clicked with us from the very first time we visited, even if the mens bathroom was a bit disgusting. We were all a little bit sad about this visit because we didn't know when we would be back.
I hope you enjoy the video and it brings back some memories of your visit to Fontana.
Here is the link to ALL the pictures I took.

Fontana was a fun place, but I still think its hot even up there....you may think the same thing in just a years time........there are 1000's of places like this and I am sure you will find a place that you will like out west that will keep you busy on the forth of July. thanks for the movie.
What a fun video! Crystal, love the hat! You've given your family memories that will last a lifetime, just like ours did with trips to Moran and the Oregon Coast. Can't wait to see what adventures WA brings the GA slash WA2 Wards! Happy moving!
Looks like a wonderful time!!! Fontana has been a fun place! We must get our fun loving outdoorsy spirit from our ancestors in those North Carolina hills!
I'm so glad you shared Fontana with all of us .. you guys are awesome in the way you discover your world. I'm sure you will have new favorite places in your new home.
Great video ... you're right it brought back a lot of memories. But guess what, there are many, many places just as nice, if not nicer, in the West and lots of them are right out your new back door.
Oh Dan, I know how hard it is to leave places that you love--in fact I've shed a few tears for you. If I wasn't so happy that you are moving closer to me--! Fontana is a beautiful, fun place and I'm glad we had the experience of sharing it with you once. But, just wait until you visit Ranier Natinal Park! Love to all of you and our prayers are with you in this stressful time. (I'm so glad to be back on the blog after almost a month of no computer access.)
I didn't mean to sound so miserable. I'm very excited for the adventures that will await us in washington!
