Dog Days of Summer

Kristi made fun of me about (as she put it) my "Doggie Hammock" in the back of my car. I took out the back seats and put a platform for the dogs to ride on so they could see out the windows as we drive.

They love to go on rides and yesterday we did just that. Thought you'd like to see just how happy the hammock makes them.

That's Victoria above and to the right below. Chloe-LaRee is the one on the left below.

Ok... so Louis doesn't "LOVE LOVE" the hammock. It's a little too wobbly for him. But he's a little grump anyway, the croggity old thing. He's always been more of a destination-not-the-journey kind of guy anyway.

It always amazes me how much dogs like cars. It is the best thing in the world for them!!

You can actually see the joy in their eyes when they get to go on a ride. If you let them stick their nose out the window they are officially in heavan! :)

You take great care of those grand-dogs. Liberty would like to live at your house so she could have her dog named Sunday.

Fun post Char! I know how much comfort and enjoyment your dogs give to you and Breck. And you to them.
Have a happy day,
Dad

Very cute pictures of the granddogs--and it takes all kinds of "kids" to make up a family--some are happy and some are a little grumpy at times!

Watch out Charlie! If Libby and Sunday come and live with you, you will also have two ferrets living with you (and I think that they are pretty active and colorful ferrets!)

Lisa who works with me wants to know where you got the hammock?

I made it myself. With plywood, and rope.
